James “The Beard” Harden has been one of the NBA’s rising stars since his trade to the Houston Rockets in 2012. Over the last few years, Harden has been setting and breaking records left and right.
In 2015, Harden signed a $200 million sneaker deal with Adidas which brought his signature playing shoe to the market.
The shoe, Harden Vol. 1, made its debut in November of 2016 while the Harden Vol. 2 hit the shelves during NBA All-Star Weekend in February 2018. Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 both hit the shelves in 2019; each with something new to offer basketball fans
This is probably the simplest shoe in the mix. The shoe features tons of technologies for stability and cushion. The trademark boost insoles respond to energy with every step you take. The shoe features a wraparound tongue cushion and midsole wrap for a perfect fit and extra stability. The Harden Vol. 1 dons those three signature strips on the heel that are specific to James Harden shoes.
The Harden Vol. 2 is still equipped with the signature boost insole to absorb energy and release it with every step. A cool added feature is the thick but lightweight mesh wrap which holds the shoelaces and a new sole.
The Harden Vol. 2 sole is designed to be worn off the court but is functional enough for streetwear. The unique design grips the court for maximum traction with each step.
The Harden LS2 is a sneaker that looks like it was made for the desert. The top part of the shoe is made of a suede-leather combo with an awesome leather patch on the tongue. The genuine leather patch has Harden’s logo. The sandy yellow is contrasted by a royal blue tongue and heel tab.
This southwestern style might draw inspiration from the fact that Harden went to Arizona State University.
The Harden Vol. 3 is the boldest of all the collections combined. The third sneaker design in the series comes in a variety of bold and eccentric colors that more reflect the personality of Harden than his game.
Vol. 3 features the most stability yet with a strap that wraps the ball of your foot. This unique design still features the boost insole as well as Harden’s signature trio of stripes on the heel.
As expected, the fourth and most current sneaker in Harden’s series with Adidas is the most complex. The high-performing sneaker features a new cushioning technology called Lightstrike. Harden’s latest sneaker also features a new traction pattern for superior traction and superior lightweight technology to keep your moves lightening fast. These Harden Vol. 4s go off.
